Privacy notice
The Tendril Foundation is the public-good arm of the Tendril network. This notice covers the personal information you give us through the apply form and what happens to it. We keep this short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
- What you type into the apply form: your organization or community name, contact email, the segment you pick, the language(s) or domain tags you select, who you serve, and what you need built.
- Technical data for security: your IP address and the page you applied from, used only to prevent spam and abuse.
- Aggregate analytics: standard, privacy-respecting usage analytics (Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. This is not tied to your application.
Why we use it
To read your application and follow up with you about it, and to keep the form free of bots and abuse. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list. We contact you about your application, nothing else.
Who processes it
- Resend delivers the application email to our team.
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs the "human check" that keeps bots out of the form.
- Vercel hosts this site and runs the form handler.
- Google Analytics provides aggregate usage statistics.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We share your application only with them, as needed to operate the form.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for as long as we need them to review and follow up, and for our own records of who we have spoken with. Ask us at any time and we will delete yours.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us. Email [email protected] and we will take care of it.
